Payment

For large camping and bunkhouse groups a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost of the accommodation is required to secure a confirmed booking. This can be done through bank transfer. Balance of payment payable in cash, or bank-transfer upon arrival.

Cancellations

If any booking is cancelled more than 4 weeks prior to arrival, the deposit will be refunded.

If a booking is cancelled less than 4 weeks before arrival, and the accommodation is re-booked, the deposit will be refunded.

If a booking is cancelled less than 4 weeks before arrival and the accommodation cannot be re-booked, the deposit will be forfeited.

General Points

Before pitching on the campsite, please visit, or call, the site office (number at the campsite entrance), and we will show you to your pitch.

Fires. We love our land so please don’t burn it. BBQ’s and raised fires are fine. Don’t burn our grassland please.

Well behaved dogs are welcome but only if well looked after. We have a responsibility to surrounding livestock farmers, and to everyone else using the site - so please keep your dog on a lead / leash while on the site. If you have a dog that barks a lot I’m afraid it will not be welcome. We definitely never want to see your dog mess on our land.

Dogs are not allowed in the bunkhouses unless by special arrangement - and only if you have booked the complete bunkhouse.

Check-in is after midday for camping and 4pm for bunkhouses. Check-out is before midday for camping, and 11am for bunkhouses. These times can often be made flexible by arrangement.

No sound systems are permitted. All noise must be kept to a minimum after 11pm. Rowdy, drunken or other anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.

No smoking is allowed in the bunkhouses.

Children must be kept under close adult supervision at all times.

Any damages or breakage’s must be reported immediately and, where not an acceptable accident, must be paid for.

Liability

We accept no responsibility for death or injury to any persons, nor for any loss or damage to personal property or equipment, including vehicles. Nor do we accept responsibility for loss or expense incurred due to delays or changes in travel services or due to sickness or because of the weather or for any other reason.

Insurance

We strongly recommend you take out adequate insurance cover against personal accident or injury, loss and breakage of personal property and equipment and any cancellations
