The Snowdon Inn from our campsite.

 

Our accommodation is basically cheap and cheerful. We have a large campsite (occasionally flooded in the winter), that is never over-subscribed – so we’ll pretty much always be able to fit you in – just turn up. The campsite has amazing views of Llanberis Pass and Snowdon, and lies next to our quarter mile stretch of the beautiful river Seiont.

The bunkhouses (a ten bed and an eight bed) are also basic – but clean and hospitable. All the above are served with an ablution block – three showers and loos. Again, these are basic but OK. A major part of our work next winter is to upgrade these – but they’re OK for now.

We also have a couple of caravans. A six berth static van is well appointed and self-contained. One double bedroom, one twin/double and a sitting room that sleeps another two, a shower room/toilet, and a full kitchen.

We also have a two berth caravan with basic cooking facilities, no bathroom (shower block opposite).

If you’re looking for top notch quality accommodation, well at the moment we’re not for you. What we offer is simple, clean and probably what you’d expect as a rufty tufty outdoorsy type. But you also get a warm welcome, a great location, fantastic view, and a great pub on tap.

Our rates

Camping: £5 per person per night (includes hot showers etc) Under 12's £4, Under 3's free.
Small Caravan: £10 pppn (suits two, two couples at a push).

Static Caravan: £75 for first 2 nights then £60 per night thereafter. Sleeps six. Totally self-contained (weekly rate £300).

Bunkhouses: An eight-bed and a ten-bed. £10pppn, but £8 for multiple nights. You get a mattress, sheet, pillow and pillow-case. You’re expected to bring a sleeping bag.
Electric hook-ups: We have facility for two hook-ups only. However vans and campers are welcome on the campsite. Hook-ups £13 for 2 people per night, includes use of showers, this rate is for standard vehicles, larger vehicles, extra power etc will be priced accordingly.

Rules

Sorry but we have to have some!

Dogs are welcome but only if well looked after. Definitely on leads on the land and in the pub. We have chickens, peacocks, and horses – and we’ve lost livestock to dogs in the past. So please don’t make us ever be dog-unfriendly. And we definitely never want to see your dogs’ shit on our land.

Try and come to see us before you pitch on the campsite. But if you turn up in the middle of the night just get on with it.

In the winter pitch your tent on the highest ground you can find.

Fires. We love our land so please don’t burn it. BBQ’s and raised fires are fine. Don’t burn our grassland please.

We make loads of noise in the pub. We ask you to keep the campsite quiet. Thanks.
